Let start by the Brasserie {C}… Have you ever heard of it? The story of Renaud Pirotte and François Dethier is THE success story of recent years. Located in the historic heart of the city, the Brewery {C} offers different beers of character that you need to discover as well as the architecture of this place.


Let’s move to Benoît Nihant, one of the only chocolate makers in Belgium who works his chocolate directly from the cocoa bean. During our food tour, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the production of this exceptional Belgian chocolate, its origin and its characteristics.


You will also have the opportunity to taste these authentic Liège waffles, probably the most famous Liège specialty in the world. At “Une Gaufrette Saperlipopette”, you will discover this sweetness baked in the respect of traditions by Eric and Bénédicte, the couple at the head of this famous pastry. Did you know? They are the first in Belgium to use only virgin flour without additives.


Do you want to escape from the city bustle? Direction Tea Late to discover the slightly crazy project of Sarah, a young woman who loves to dream while having her feet on the ground! Inspired by Alice in Wonderland, in 2018 she transformed an old butcher’s shop that became a concept store, into an eco-ethical, gourmet and unusual tea room with a unique decor! You can taste local and organic products cooked by her and which vary every week. Sit back, dream and enjoy!


An Liège institution since 1930, the Eggen-Nols pastry shop is today run by Bernard Eggen and his wife, Pascale. You will find the specialties of the region prepared with the greatest care… But waffles are our favorite, as Prince Laurent of Belgium, who runs to the story every time is in Liège!


Behind the Vintrépides hide the story of Laurence, Roberto and Matthieu. Since 2017, these three passionate friends import and sale of organic wines but the adventure does not end there! They are also the proud creators of original products: a rum, a vodka, a beer, a gin and a pastis. After having a great success during the holidays in their pop-up store, they definitively put down their boxes in our beautiful city.


Open since 2019, BarManne is a hybrid establishment, of a new kind in the territory of Liège created by Ludovic & Pascal. These two founders offer you healthy and tasty cuisine, local products and a cozy place to wash your clothes.


At just 18 years old and following in the footsteps of his father, Antony launched his business of ice-cream maker. After several years selling ice-cream in his truck, he decided to settle down. In 2013, he opened his store in the city center, trying to honor his father’s hard work by offering quality artisanal ice cream to gourmets in Liège.


Mélanie Lemmens is an art historian, musician and passionate about chocolate. For several months, the owner of Carré Noir tracked down the best of chocolates among artisans around the world. In the end, she only kept her favorites: quality products and “grands crus” produced from exceptional ingredients.
